Britney Spears is Back
August 31, 2007The original pop princess is back. She might be a no-good mother, she might need to check into rehab, but you have to admit she has talent.
After the two baby experiment with K-Fed, and a case of the almost dropsies, Britney went back to the studio to get started on her new album.
Her first two new songs, "Gimme More" and "Cold as Fire" sound good. "Gimme More" is sexual, but I'm sure you could guess that by the title.
I hear she worked with Ne-Yo on some of the album, or he wrote some of the songs for her. Ne-Yo knows what's going on.
It's no "Like-a-Virgin" classic, but it will do. I'm tired of other attempts made by female pop artists. I don't like female artists that much anyways, but I - we - need some Britney in our lives.
"Cold as Fire" isn't all that great, but I wouldn't avoid "Gimme More" on the radio. She doesn't do too much actual singing on the album, it's more "Baby One More Time."
Her new songs are posted through the VH1 website.

Check 'em out and tell me, heck, tell the world what you think.

The reference concerning Britney Spears got my attention. Recently I've become a top fan and can not get too much info or articles about Britney's career. With recent hair trimming, raunchy videos, wedding breakdowns or just another pop single release there is a lot happening around her. Pity about the youngsters involvement but I imagine the cash will help them. The tv age is her opportunity for money but will it be her ruin with too much coverage and exposure. In fact I reckon that this posting and my comment are part of the selfsame publicity I commented about.
