Burk bulldogs football update
September 5, 2007Just wanted to let everyone know that the guy that scored the game-winning, overtime touchdown last Friday in the big win over Decatur, Lynn Barnes, might not play this week.
He got in a car wreck, he wasn't hurt that bad, he just got a small burn/cut on his neck and a bad bruise on the top of his head.
His mom/guardian, told me he's doing ok, but I just wanted to wish him a fast recovery. Lynn, the team needs you, but with a probable concussion, I think the coaches would be smart to hold you out against Gainesville.
You'll have eight more games to prove to the football gods that you have cajones on the field.
