Casting Crowns concert
February 12, 2008Seems like some people were affected by my choice of words for the Casting Crowns concert.
Too bad.
I had a good time. I'm not really a fan of Christian Rock. I appreciate the music, but I've purchased one album Christian album -- P.O.D.
I thought I'd give it a shot, see what a Christian rock concert was like, and I'm glad I went. I didn't know what to expect. I thought when I walked inside the arena I would be handed a Bible and be baptized. I wasn't. That was a joke by the way.
Christian rock is Christian rock.
I did feel refreshed after the show also. It had a church-like affect on me. I hadn't taken the family in while and I needed to go to something. I went out of town last weekend and I wasn't able to go to a service on Sunday.
I did to go to a church for a wedding, but that doesn't count...I think.
Pray on.
