Way to go Huskies
September 02, 2006We're not supposed to be cheerleaders. We're supposed to be unbiased and un-caring about who wins or loses on Friday nights.
It usually doesn't matter to me even who is playing the game that I'm shooting.
But I sure would have loved to been at Memorial Stadium last night and watched the Hirschi Huskies win their first game in more than two years.
Two long years of frustrations for the fans and parents of the Huskie players....gone. It wasn't even a dramatic win...they pretty much knew after the first quarter.
That's just one reason why I love Friday nights.
