Don't Worry...
February 2, 2007Nobody from that Kansas Church group is going to be in Windthorst protesting the funeral.
They haven't protested a single thing in Texas in several months. They've chickened out every time. They'll have some excuse, like they have every other funeral service in the last 5 months in this state..."They fear for their safety," or "We couldn't find enough supporters in the area" or blah blah blah.
Just the fact that we've even bothered to mention them just kills me. Our newspaper has fallen into the very trap that they want....whatever it takes to spread their sick, psychotic message.
All they've managed to do is spread bad feelings on what is supposed to be mournful celebration of heroism that I can't even comprehend.
