Presents from Red
October 10, 2007The new farm pup, Red, brought me some presents last weekend.
I opened the front door to find three gifts on the front porch that he'd rustled up.
A thoroughly gnawed-on stick, slobber still present.
The brushy endpiece to the Shop Vac from the garage.
A coyote's jawbone.
And he just smiled and smiled and smiled at me.
I guess it IS the thought that counts, after all.
