George W. flipped tails --- how fitting
September 22, 2009George W. Bush took time off from his busy schedule of searching for weapons of mass destruction to show up for Jerry Jones' big shindig on Saturday night.
He flipped the coin at midfield to help open the new Cowboys Stadium.
The Giants called heads.
George W. flipped tails.
Tails was so symbolic of the eight horse's ass years of his presidency.
If Jerry had invited Bill Clinton instead, the Giants would have probably won the flip.
He would have flipped heads -- what his eight years in the Oval Office are best remembered for.

George Bush was a better president than clinton was... Bush had to try to clean up the mess that clinton made and now we have a president that is not only making a big mess on his own but brought clinton in to help him out to make an even bigger mess!!!! This next 4 years are really going to be exciting...NOT
Nick,
I think it's time you go back to what do best. Writing about sports. I wanted to come on here and just blast you. But instead of acting like you and calling you a horses ass like you did to our former president, I'm going to handle it in a more civil manner. Your writing and "ideas" are terrible. It is a shame that I went overseas twice and fought for people in the country like you. Because you are quick to call President Bush a horses ass, but if I were to do this, I would be racist and he flogged by the TRN and other drive by media outlets. I have lost what little respect I had for you.
It is generally conceded that GWB was the worst president in American history. But some will always believe otherwise. Even though it's true, their warped ideology prevents them from admitting it. Clinton was by far a better president and a better man in general. Even Obama stands head and shoulders above Junior. Obama can speak without putting his foot in his mouth, and he hasn't started a never ending war. Eight years and counting, counting....counting and counting....coun....Over a million dollars a minute wasted chasing middle east tribalists. And for what? Got a realistic answer? I said realistic, not some righwing BS justification.
Afton:
Who is part of this "general concession" that Bush was the worst president in U.S. history? The same "vast majority" that think Obama is doing a bang-up job so far?
If all a president had to do was give a speech, Obama would be the guy ... unfortunately, there are some tasks on the president's to-do list that don't require use of a teleprompter.
By the way, this "endless" war carries on today ... with a Democrat-controlled White House AND Congress.
I know, I know ... it's still Bush's fault ... always will be.
Afton,
Would you perfer that the terrorists come back to the US and take out something else and kill more people? Why is it that the left wing people are still blaming President Bush? It's been 8 months since President Obama took office and he is still blaming his predecessor for things that are messed up instead of admitting that he doesn't know how to fix things. He's too busy making friends with dictators and apologizing to other countries for the US being a world power. Give the country back to the people. Our president, congress and house of representatives forgets that they are elected officals, meaning, they work for us, and if we don't approve of the job they are doing, we can fire them. Why is it so hard for the American People to understand this? That's what's great about America.
Nick
Thankefully Texas is Democratic State.
We have only had 3 Republicans as Governor.
Keep up the good work
