White Christmas? Bah, humbug!

January 4, 2010

A white Christmas was high on my bucket list.
I had been dreaming of one for 63 years.

But after Christmas 2009 -- I never, ever want to see another one again.
I don't need Frosty the Snowman in my front yard.
I don't want chestnuts roasting on an open fire.
From now on, give me sunshine and 70 degrees on Christmas Day.
Maybe take the family to Vegas.

I never want to hear Bing Crosby sing "White Christmas" again.
