RCC wins opening Week of "Sack Zach"
August 30, 2009The first week of high school football is in the books, which means we have a winner of the "Sack Zach" contest.
It's RCC who picked 9 of 10 games correctly (missing Burkburnett-Sweetwater game). RCC actually tied with football 12 (missed the Stamford-Munday game).
But RCC won the tiebreaker, guessing 46 points in the Munday game. He almost made it right on the dot.
I got 8 of 10 right, missing WFHS and Stamford picks. And jacksooner also got 8 right.
So RCC, please e-mail me at duncanz@timesrecordnews.com so we can get you a "Football Freak" TRN T-shirt.
If you didn't play last week, you can still log in and play for the rest of the season. Weekly winners get a T-Shirt, and whoever picks the most games correctly at the end of the year gets a to-be-determined prize.
Also, starting the third week, I'm thinking about making the number of games be closer to 15.
