Will I need to hire a general contractor to remodel my kitchen or bath?

Your designer will work with KSI’s own installation team to coordinate the schedule and time line for your project. By keeping all the of the trades working together on the same time line, your kitchen and bath remodels will go as smoothly as possible!
Do I have to come up with my own design before I start shopping for a kitchen?
No! While it’s great to have ideas of what you’d like in your new kitchen, by no means are you expected to design it all yourself. That’s what the experts are for! KSI offers experienced designers to help you create a customized layout that fits your space as well as your needs. Once your designer has accurate dimensions of your kitchen, he or she can input them into the 20-20 design program. This program allows you to see how your new kitchen will actually look – complete with the new pantry and island seating! The 20-20 program also makes it simple for your designer to modify your design. Whether you would like to see how a different cabinet door style would look, or how you could move the location of your sink.
What are some trends in kitchen remodeling?
A look that is very popular in kitchen design right now is pairing two different colors. There are many different ways to achieve this effect – whether it is through using a different wood species for your wall cabinets than your base cabinets, or simply adding a molding in a contrasting color to your cabinetry.
