The Detroit River Smells Just Fine to Me
For the most part, it seems as though out-of -town journalists have been pretty darn laudatory as they file columns from our fair city this week. A co-worker just alerted me to an exception.
Writer Jeff Hawkins has an oddly poor column in the Northwest Herald, a suburban Chicago newspaper.
Check this thing out. It's strange. Hawkins boarded a bus that wasn't going anywhere touristy. That seems to be a sore point for Mr. Negativity. Is he just looking for scorn from Detroiters? What do you think?

If you think that's bad, wait 'til the snow arrives tomorrow. The media will finally have something legitimate to complain about.
On the flip side, it will be disturbingly entertaining to watch visitors with no snow-driving experience gain some.
